I’ve got your back

I always have

Very early I met people who saw how motivated I was.

I remember the first time I helped a band, I was 10. I did everything I could to make myself useful, and they must have liked me because they kept me around. i was always right beside the drummer, learning how everything worked.

When I was 15, they noticed I was always there, and I got my first real job helping a band. Soon After, my first real drum tech job was with Jonas Sanders (Pro Pain).

at 17 I was approached by a band signed by Roadrunner Records. unfortunately, I was too young for the insurance so I missed the chance. And you know what?

they called me The day of my 18th Birthday to tell me I was doing all of the summer festivals with them starting that year.

I’ve stuck with them since, working with Randy Black (destruction, formerly of primal fear, formerly of annihilator), Henry De Jong (Alien Weaponry), Nicholas Barker (Formerly Dimmu Borgir), Phil B (Channel Zero) until his death, then Seven Antonopoulos (Channel Zero, formerly of Vanilla Ice, formerly of Leaves Eyes).

I’ve also had the pleasure to help drummers like Stef Broks (Textures), and Will Dorsey (Body Count) during shows like rock Werchter, summer breeze, pukklepop, Lokerse Feesten, Rock Hard, Graspop, Dour, and many, many more.

I really feel blessed that I was able to tour Europe in such good company, And I’m sure it’s only the beginning!

Charles, he’s amazing! He knows the kit better than me.
— Seven Antonopoulos

I‘ve also been the trusty sound guy for bands and companies such as Alien Weaponry, Pendejo, Klone, concert touring and many more.

In addition to one shots with bands such as Dog Eat dog and lofofra.

So far so good, and i’ve learned:

you always need a Leatherman and a roll of duct tape! Its all gonna be fine.

“Breakfast from 6 to 10!”
